CERÂMICA VIEIRA
A Cerâmica Vieira foi fundada em 1862, em Lagoa, ilha de São Miguel. Pertence à mesma família há cinco gerações e é dos poucos patrimónios industriais e artísticos que resiste nos Açores. Destaca-se por ser a única fábrica de cerâmica vidrada do arquipélago e por ter uma produção inteiramente artesanal.
Cerâmica Vieira was founded in 1862, in Lagoa, on the island of São Miguel. It has been in the same family for five generations and is one of the few industrial and artistic heritage sites that still survives in Azores. It stands out for being the only glazed ceramics factory in the archipelago and for having entirely artisanal production.
