Animal Save
The Animal Save Movement is an international organisation that fights for animal liberation and aims to raise public awareness about the farmed animals exploited for human consumption. This movement has thousands of activists around the world, including Portugal, with several groups of activists promoting awareness-raising actions across the country. I had the opportunity to follow some activists in three actions – a street action in Coimbra (Save Square) and two vigils at the main gates of two slaughterhouses (Aveiro and Penafiel).
