Ausência
How does a place and its inhabitants adapt to someone's death? Is this absence just physical? How do we relate to death? And how do we deal with these questions when we lose a loved one? This project reflects the emptiness and hopelessness I felt when my father passed away. The visual record of personal objects, work tools and places where he used to be is the starting point for several questions and an attempt to deal with the limbo between ephemerality and eternity, mourning and overcoming, presence and absence.
